Survivor 35: Mid-Season Report Card
Survivor 35: Mid-Season Report Card
By: John Powell – GlobalTV.com
The Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers merger is right around the corner and that means it is time for a mid-season report card for each Survivor still left in the game. We correctly predicted that Katrina, Simone, Patrick would not fare too well and they haven’t. Here are assessments of those who remain to perhaps help with your Survivor Fantasy Tribe Pool picks. Enjoy!
Ben is on fairly stable ground as waiting on the other side of the merger are all of his original Levu tribemates. Ben is assuredly teaming up with Chrissy again and that core alliance might widen to include Ryan. Ben has stayed out of the line of fire while pushing the other players in the direction he wants them to go.
Mid-Season Rating: A+
Other players have reported that JP is very difficult to read and doesn’t talk strategy. He hunts. He fishes. Other than that, he keeps his cards close to his chest. What might keep him in the game is that he is a challenge asset for the original Levu Alliance.
Mid-Season Rating: B-
At present, she is our frontrunner. She has Ben and Ryan as loyal partners. Her social game appears to be on point for the most part. She is clever and is willing to make strong moves to push ahead.
Mid-Season Rating: A+
Being tied up with Cole could be her downfall. She even stated last episode during Cole’s fainting spell that she is even more committed to sticking by his side. Everyone sees them as a power couple. They are easy targets going into the merger and Jessica doesn’t have any dedicated allies besides Cole.
Mid-Season Rating: C-
The same deal as Jessica. Power couples are big targets. He really hasn’t made any in-roads with any of the other players.
Mid-Season Rating: C-
Joe is relentless and focused. That tenacity has gotten him to the merger, however, his reputation is battered and bruised. Desi seems to have determined he is a liability. One wonders if his former allies will come to the same conclusion.
Mid-Season Rating: B-
If Ashley is welcomed back into the Levu fold there is no telling how far she could go. The one mitigating factor would be if Ben, Chrissy and Ryan stay strong and where Devon would fit into all of that.
Mid-Season Rating: A
Devon’s whole game hinges on his alliance with Ryan and possibly Ashley. If he and Ryan come together again at the merger, they could be a solid core force especially if Ashley also sides with them.
Mid-Season Rating: B+
She has played well, better than we thought. Like Devon her game rests on whether Ryan is still loyal to the original Yawa Alliance. If not, she could be a free for the other side.
Mid-Season Rating: B-
The merger will be a test of loyalties for Ryan. He has Devon and Chrissy wanting to continue forward with him. How he plays the merger could very well determine how he will ultimately finish.
Mid-Season Rating: A+
Not as strong a player as I had assumed. Since she is not a die-hard fan of the show, her strategy is to latch onto a strong player. The problem is the player she has partnered with is Joe.
Mid-Season Rating: C-
Mike has a sound social game and is not considered a massive threat to anyone. He may stick around a little longer just because there are bigger fish to fry.
Mid-Season Rating: B-
