HoH Angela has had a change of heart. She apologized to Matt for her public tongue-lashing yesterday.

“Basically, I just want to apologize to you with my whole heart. This is not to get in your favour or anything like that. I brought people into it that I shouldn’t have. I never should have brought your mom into it,” she told him of her tirade against him in the kitchen yesterday morning.

“From a mom’s perspective, from person-to-person, I know that you have it out for me and I have it out for you,” she said.

“Now, yes, but before, no. That’s the honest truth. You can watch in three months,” replied Matt about the show, episodes.

Angela claimed that as HoH she had many people coming to her saying that Matt was rallying the house against her.

“For me to bring in your mom and then to bring in Makensy,” said Angela shaking her head.  “Because I love her so much, she’s great! She’s playing a good game! People love her! They gravitate towards both of you…I should not have brought her name into it. That was really, really, really wrong. Bringing your mom into it, especially she’s not even in this game, I wouldn’t want anyone to do that to my kid.”

Angela confessed she felt intimidated by Matt in their one-on-one conversation in the HoH and her going off like she did was a way for her to get her “power back”.

“This is me truthful Angela telling you Matt, I wish I had not done that…I’m hoping that outside of this game that you can take that and just know that is sincere,” she asked.

“Thank you for saying that…I want you to know because this is genuinely who I am…even if you rode with treating me how you did up until I walked out of this house this was my plan, right in front of the house, before I left apologize to you publicly and then I would have walked out there in with Julie (Chen Moonves) and told America that I forgive you,” replied a thankful Matt.

Matt explained that he used to be a troubled kid until a mentor took him under his wing and put him on the right path. Angela bringing his mother into it really hurt him because she has worked hard for what little they had and when she first moved to America she learned English by watching Big Brother and host Julie Chen Moonves. He also is working on himself due to a bad break-up earlier in the year. He is learning how to process his emotions better than he had been.

Angela promised Matt that she wouldn’t put him on the block but that they needed to find a pawn to replace him. Her new target would be Kenney.

Angela nominated three houseguests for eviction this week.

  • Kenney, the former undercover cop from Boston.
Lisa, the private chef from California.
Kimo, the mattress sales rep from Hawaii.

Lisa won the Power of Veto.

Reader Alert: Tonight’s show will be a special 90-minute episode of Big Brother where there will be a big change to the nominations and evictions.
