And the winner is…
She smooth-talked her way to $750,000.
Chelsie Baham, a 24-year-old non-profit director from Rancho Cucamonga, California, has won Big Brother 26.
Chelsie won unanimously. Second-place Makensy didn’t get a single vote to win but still took home $75,000.
“I feel so blessed. I have been a fan since I was a kid. I am so blessed. I am just ready to go see my dog,” said Chelsie.
Makensy did win the final Head of Household of the season but instead of taking Cam Sullivan-Brown she picked Chelsie instead. Cam only won one competition the entire season and was dragged to the end by Makensy and Chelsie.
If Makensy had picked Cam she would have been guaranteed a win.
As she has done throughout the last phase of the game Chelsie convinced Makensy to take her instead of Cam citing faith, loyalty and the bond they had.
“I didn’t come here for the money. I came here for the experience,” said Makensy.
Viewers voted Tucker Des Lauriers as America’s Favourite Houseguest adding $50,000 to the $20,000 he won as the AI Instigator.
“I love you guys so much! Thanks for seeing me as me and understanding me. I hope I can inspire people to become confident in being themselves whether you are a goofy, wild, weird dude or not!” said a thrilled Tucker.
Return tomorrow for our interviews with all three finalists.
