There are as many different winning strategies to Big Brother as there are Big Brother houseguests. This season’s crop of contestants all think they have the perfect strategy to get them to the end. Here is what they had to say before began the physical and psychological struggle for that $750,000.

Starting on August 6th following the Wednesday premiere the series will air Sundays and Wednesdays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) and Thursdays (9:00-10:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT), featuring the live eviction show hosted by Julie Chen Moonves on Global TV.

“I have been watching Big Brother for the last 15 years so I want to go into the game playing the game I personally love to watch. I am going to be in here lying, backstabbing and blindsiding whoever I can, whenever I can whenever I get the chance. I plan to stay low at the beginning just because I feel that strategy has worked for past players. I am definitely going to be the sweet bubbly, charismatic person to try to get to know everyone and be genuine with them and then lie whoever I need to. I don’t mind. I am going to do whatever it takes to win.”

“My strategy going into the game is lying about my job so they don’t know I am a strategist, winning the competitions and playing a mean social game.”

“You just got to pivot, pivot, pivot and I am excited to play the strategy…Part of my strategy is to get into some big alliances with some small ones as well. It is a numbers game at the start, only the start. It is about votes. It is what you’ve got to do…I will be keeping some secrets like my age. I am 45. I never think about my age and I never tell people my age. So, in the house, if anyone asks, I am 34….I am also a lawyer and I am not going to be telling people that. How to get voted off? Say you are a lawyer. ”

“I am not a sprinter. I am not a marathon runner. I am tie-dye. I like to blend in with each portion of my strategy. You can find a lot of other people’s historic gameplay within my gameplay. I hope that I do them justice and give them a nod along the way…My strategy going into the Big Brother game is not to win too many competitions, definitely not win any soon. I will not lay too low to be a floater. I want to be right down the middle. I want to build connections with people and drive relationships forward.”

“This one is simple. When you talk about my skill set which is my weird bouts with athleticism or my persuasive speaking skills, you have all of that, and then you have this deep pool of social strategy knowledge and Big Brother super fandom. You have these two ideas and what do I do with both of them? There is only Big Brother…I am here to play Big Brother and have fun.”

“I think part of the reason why I wanted to be in the Big Brother house was to prove to myself that I have always looked to myself as a people person, as a social person, as a relationship person and this is going to let me know if how I have always seen myself is how other people see me. I believe I know how to strategize and play all the different things you need to do to get to the end so I am going to see if how I see myself is how other people see me and if that will carry me to the end.”

“My strategy for the Big Brother game is to find someone who is conscientious and agreeable to be my ride-or-die. I want them to be someone who is good at keeping their emotions in check and someone who is intelligent at maneuvering strategically. Then, the two of us will maneuver to create two factions or groups that basically get split while we live in the middle and we are able to sway the vote based on the dynamics of what is happening and never allowing either side to get too powerful.”

“As a musician outside the house I think it is really important that my game crescendo. I need to start low and just observe people, fit in socially. Towards the end, I can turn on that competition beast and win. Nobody will see it coming.”

“I feel at the end of the day this is a game and everyone that is a houseguest knows it is a game. We are going to get blood on our hands. I am willing to do what it takes to go to the end. What I want to do, as much as I can, keep myself safe and have some close allies I can take to the end. It is not a lone wolf game that I am going to play. You cannot get to the end that way.”

“My strategy for the game is to be fluid, be like water, to respect and accept all walks of life. I will try not to make a presence for myself until it is needed.”

“My strategy going into Big Brother is aligning with strong people right off the bat. I need a strong alliance right out of the gate and we a are going to steamroll the other alliances.”

“My strategy going into the Big Brother game is to be the friendly guy, the lovable guy. Maybe I am a little dense? Maybe I am a bit of a ‘himbo’ but behind that persona there is a bit of cunning, a bit of planning, there is something going in there where I need to be on my toes at all times because even though we will all be friends, and I am very genuine in that regard, there is going to be some backstabbing and some deceit. This is a game of deceit.”

“Honestly, my strategy has been going back and forth. There are a lot of ways I could go about this. Definitely, there are a lot of plays. I think right now my main focus is to try to win the first HoH so people come to me to make the alliances…I will float a little bit but not too much where I am not doing anything. I don’t want to get in anyone’s way and become threat. I don’t want to win every challenge possible so I am going to have to hold myself back.”

“I think my strategy for the Big Brother game is to develop a strategy as I go. I don’t think you can go in there with any one plan. You can have plan A through Z but when you get in there, all of that changes. The beauty of Big Brother is to Expect the Unexpected and if you don’t adapt, you don’t survive.”

“I am going to play this game like a politician. I am going to hand your hand. I am going to kiss your baby. I am going to smile in your face and when you least expect it, I am going to stab you in the back and take all of your money.”

“I think my strategy going into this house is embracing my situational awareness, keeping my head on a swivel and staying on my toes as you really never know what to expect and I feel like when you make a plan to do something oftentimes they never turn out how they are supposed to. I think just adapting to whatever is happening in front of me, things that are ever-changing and not floating. They are going to be my two big key strategies here in the Big Brother house.”
