She went out swinging but what would one expect from a former Mrs. America? As the Pentagon alliance continues to crumble Brooklyn Rivera was yet another casualty of war in the Big Brother house. Who does Brooklyn think is the best player this season? Does she regret the interior decorating she did during the veto competition? What team does her husband play for? Brooklyn tells all.

John Powell: How you feeling today after such an emotional exit?

Brooklyn Rivera: John, I wish I wasn’t speaking to you right now. (laughs) To be honest, I wish I was still in that house but I went out swinging, kicking and screaming and I tried my best. It was the most fun, hardest thing that I have ever done in my entire life including having babies naturally, without medication. I would do that 50 times and say it’s much easier than playing Big Brother.

John Powell: Was it easier than being was it harder than being Mrs. America?

Brooklyn Rivera: Yes, hands down! I mean, I won Mrs. America on my first try! This is much harder. I played 10 competitions and didn’t win one single thing! What a real big shot to my ego! That house humbles you more ways than you will ever imagine but it was extremely fun!

John Powell: You did have a parting comment when you left the house. You said: You guys will never know which team my husband plays for. Now, explain to the viewers what that was all about. Your husband’s a marine, correct?

Brooklyn Rivera. Photo: CBS.

Brooklyn Rivera: He is. He’s a marine and he’s in sales (laughs). So, you have nothing else to do than conspire and scheme about who is lying in the house. Cameron said: You know what? I’ve cracked the code. You’re a ball wife and it’s baseball. Your husband’s a former MLB player. That’s why you’ve met in Tampa, blah, blah, blah. He also thinks I’m a child actress. (laughs) So I just wanted to keep the scheming going and leave them questioning everything. (laughs)

John Powell: Looking back at everything that happened as far as your game is concerned is there anybody you can point the blame to and say you feel most betrayed by this or that person?

Brooklyn Rivera: Yeah, Quinn. Quinn, hands down. I really wish he would have come to me with his questions and insecurities about the Pentagon. I know that he knew him and I were on the low end of the totem pole when he came to me in the storage room that day and mentioned that. Initially, we were Number Four and Five but during Cedric’s HoH I think he saw how close I was to Chelsie and how much Cedric enjoyed having me in the Pentagon. That raised red flags with him and he couldn’t trust me after that.

Also when he was America’s nominee, he came to me and said: You are the best player in this house and if I get Lisa tonight I want you to win. I should have believed him when he said he thought I was the best player because…Hello! Target, my back!

In saying all of that, if Chelsie doesn’t win I hope Quinn does.

John Powell: Quinn was one of the only people to actually directly confront Tucker. You were another. Why are people scared of Tucker and do you think they’re playing scared?

Brooklyn Rivera: Abso-freaking-lutely! …and that is why I said it. Tucker was made in the same place Ainsley was made in. He is a robot that is freakishly good at everything and these Big Brother games are hard. He is playing also a game of like he was picked last on the playground. He is mad that no one wanted to work with him first. His whole game is to blow up everyone else’s game. If you tell him anything he’s going to tell everybody and he is in it for himself.

His whole game is he can win competitions so he can do whatever he wants. You know when you win HoH, you can’t the next week!

My pleas was let me be the one that takes the shot. I’m not going to lie. That was my game. My plea this week was I’m not hiding it. He’s my target and if y’all are working with him, so be it but I’m not going to lie about it.

John Powell: We saw Angela go after this person and that person in the house. Why didn’t she confront you, except about that charcuterie board?

Brooklyn Rivera: You know, apparently Angela and I are frenemies so I don’t think she ever fully trusted me and I sure as hell didn’t trust her or want to work with her at all. We just didn’t vibe. We didn’t get each other. The only thing we have in common is we’re mothers and married and that’s where it ended. I know she felt intimidated by me, as she should, but she was the one that won a couple things by luck, granted and by targeting me.

John Powell: We talked about enemies but now let’s discuss a close friend in the house, which was Chelsie. It must have made you feel really good last night to get that vote from her.

Brooklyn Rivera: She is just a good time girl and an incredible human being! We have the love of Jesus and our families! She is so genuine. She reminds me a lot of myself and I am seven years older than her but I don’t feel it. She wanted all the relationship advice…It was fun. You can’t hide who you genuinely like in the house and that’s how showmances are so strong because you just can’t hide it. You’re with these people 24/7. I know more about Cam than I want to know. Let’s just leave it at that. (laughs)

John Powell: Why did the Pentagon fall apart so quickly?

Brooklyn Rivera: Well, when you go from a pentagon to a square and then the triangle is put on the block…They’re now just a line and I’m sure they’ll be a dot by the end of this week, probably, unfortunately. (laughs)

I wish I would have saw it before Cedric’s vote but I didn’t. I wanted to believe that people were staying loyal. I thought the only people who flipped truly were T’kor, Kimo and Joseph…So you win some, you lose some, you get got. I didn’t want to be a floater in this game and I’m proud that I wasn’t. I’m proud that I went out because people thought I was really good at it.

John Powell: Where do you think your game went wrong and what would you have changed if you could go back?

Brooklyn Rivera: I think I would have kept Quinn even closer. In the storage room when he said we’re number four and five, and I got your back, I should have solidified the final two. Then, I should have made him really, really comfortable. I don’t think I did a good enough job at that. Also, I should have believed him when he was America’s nominee and he pulled me into the room and said if I get Lisa tonight you’re the best player in this game and I want to see you win. He was saying you’re the best player and I’m scared of you in that moment and I should have taken him for his word. He was nervous about me but with saying all of that, he’s playing an incredible game! He was the one with the veto around his neck this week and I want to see him beat Tucker!

John Powell: During the veto competition you did a bit of…let’s say…redecorating. Do you regret that?

Brooklyn Rivera: No regrets at all, other than I wish I would have been able to have another round in the house because I would have continued to have some fun with some closets! (laughs)

John Powell: Do you regret eating Angela’s charcuterie board?

Brooklyn Rivera: No! I’m never sad about eating cheese! I am a queso fresco queen and lover! I’m never going to let it go to waste! I’m really good at making a really pretty board too! So, jokes on her. Sorry, not sorry. (laughs)
