Leah admits ‘crush’ on Quinn
The end of her game and her Big Brother dream came at the hands of one of her closest allies in the house yet Leah Peters is still rooting for Makensy to win? Leah explained her surprising stance to us and her true feelings for Quinn.
John Powell: Who do you hope follows you into the jury house and why?
Leah Peters: Ah, tough question. I honestly don’t wish that upon anyone, because I recognize that a follow into the jury house is a dream dying.
I sort of hope that it’s even…Oh goodness, I’m so sorry. I think that I don’t want it to be Angela, Makensy or Chelsea because I really want them to go far. So, if it’s Kimo I would be so happy just to spend time with him through this process and I think that he’s the person that I would like to see come in next but I don’t want anyone to. I wish that nobody had to follow me in after because I want to see everyone pursue their dream.
John Powell: Why do you think Makensy put one of her closest friends, allies in you on the block?
Leah Peters: I think Makensy was influenced by other people to put Angela and I on the block. I definitely think it was a huge mistake on her part because I know we would have been loyal to her to the end.
I really hope whatever loyalty she expected to gain from that worked, and that she continues to go far because I truly can only speak for myself, and I knew for a fact that I was going to take Makensy to the end, and I hope that she still makes it there.
John Powell: What are your true feelings for Quinn?
Leah Peters: I think that I’ve always had a great relationship with Quinn. We have gotten along so well. He’s someone who has always taken the time to thoroughly understand me and I started to develop a crush on him a little bit at the end. I guess we’ll see where that goes and if it develops into something great but, you know, I would hate to put a label on it so soon but I’m always open to anything, I guess and whatever is meant to be will be.
John Powell: You really cooked up a storm in the Big Brother house. Have you ever thought about a cooking career and where did your love of cooking come from?
Leah Peters: I have loved cooking since I can remember. It’s mostly due to me always cooking for my family. I have previously thought about a culinary career, but ended up wanting to keep it as one of my passions that gives me peace and solace. I am a self-taught cook. My grandmother also cooked but mostly it was just me taking charge because my mom and sister cannot be trusted in the kitchen. I will always love to cook and take care of the ones around me. I think food is my love language and it’s such an important part of my life.
