Crochet fashion brand owner T’kor Clottey won’t be crafting anymore yarns in the Big Brother house. Evicted last night, T’kor (Dinah) will be jetting off to the jury house but not before we had a chance to ask her a few questions.

John Powell: Who do you hope follows you to the jury house and why?

T’kor Clottey: I need a little bit of revenge so if Leah is following me into the jury house I wouldn’t be upset about it purely because she is a big reason why I’m gone. She put me on the block and that was after I kept her off the block during my HoH and so that is kind of what I’m hoping for.

John Powell: What was it like having a friend like Kimo in the house and why do you think you grew so close?

T’kor Clottey: Honestly, having a friend like Kimo in the house I know was something that made my experience incredibly special. Having someone that I could go to vent to at the end of every day, talk game with and know that it was always going to be a safe space just between us, I think, is something that you know not most people in the house get to experience and on top of that, it was an incredibly genuine relationship and friendship.

I think there are many aspects of what drew us together but I think we have the same sorts of visions, we have the same sorts of creative energy, we have the same sort of care for other people and respect for our family and I do think that Kimo being queer and me being raised in the queer household was also another point of connection that just continued to foster and increase our bond.

John Powell: If you had to crochet one item for the remaining houseguests what would it be?

T’kor Clottey: Leah, I would have to make her a pyjama set, because she’s constantly in her PJs and wears the cutest hats so I definitely want to be able to add to her collection.

For Makensy, we already talked about what I would crochet for her which would be a sweater with the state of Texas right on the chest to represent her home.

For Cam, I would either crochet a kind of muscle t-shirt or tank top or a kimono. Honestly, very two different things, but, you know, trying to figure out what I want to do something basic or would I want to do something a little high end especially for his budding career in the music industry.

Angela, I would definitely crochet some of my fluffy bucket hats for her kids and her grandkids to wear.

For Chelsie, I would definitely have to make something cute for her. I think that I picture maybe different accessories that she can pair. I know that she has, a cute kind of street style but also comfortable, cozy sweatsuit type vibe so I think that maybe some earrings, a headband, just different things that she can pair on top of an already fabulous wardrobe.

For Kimo, I would definitely make a cardigan for him to wear over his very relaxed vibe and style or maybe even crochet him a pair of sandals because I know how much he likes wearing sandals.

Rubina, I would definitely crochet a nice two piece set for her, maybe a skirt with some sort of crop top, bedazzle it with buttons or different accessories so that she can wear it roller skating and definitely some sort of accessory for her roller skates to match.

John Powell: Why did you nominate Tucker for eviction when his allies were your allies?

T’kor Clottey: There are a couple of reasons. The first was he was a pawn, and I knew, due to his track record, he had a great chance of winning the veto or the AI Arena. Unfortunately that week, he wasn’t able to pull through. So that was definitely the main reason why I nominated him. He was definitely a pawn, but also, too, I didn’t want to use Kimo or Rubina as pawns in this situation. I didn’t want to risk them going home and I knew that Tucker was still sitting on the block there was a risk of him going home.

I think that in our alliance, he never listened to me and I knew in this game I wanted to surround myself with people who value my voice and my ideas and what I bring to the table but I didn’t want him gone. Ultimately, even though it led to my alliances being on the block time and time after again, I do think in the end it will be better for their game moving forward.
